Applicants Can Check Status of Property Tax/Rent Rebate Online, Says O'Brien
5/20/2009
The Department of Revenue has launched a Web tool to enable Pennsylvanians to check the status of their Property Tax/Rent Rebate applications online, Rep. Dennis M. O’Brien (R-Philadelphia) announced today.

Six weeks after a resident submits an application, he or she may visit the site to check the status of the rebate by entering the following information:
  • Social Security number
  • Date of birth
  • Anticipated rebate amount
The new service will allow applicants to confirm the status, rebate amount and the date a rebate is expected to be mailed or direct deposited.

The Department of Revenue will begin distributing rebate checks on July 1. To check the status of a rebate, individuals can visit RepOBrien.com and click on “Where’s My Property Tax Refund?”
