Mini-Grants Available for Autistic Individuals, Says O’Brien
The Bureau of Autism of the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare is offering mini-grants to support individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), announced Rep. Dennis O’Brien (R-Philadelphia).
“These grants offer assistance for individuals with ASD and their families who may not be able to access existing support services,” said O’Brien. “Living with autism can be a challenge and these mini-grants can help provide some relief.”
Applicants must be a Pennsylvania resident; have ASD or have a family member with ASD; and not be currently receiving family support services.
Eligible applicants may receive up to $500 in grant funds. Total funding is limited and available on a first-come first-served basis. The deadline to submit an application is April 16.
